CATALYSE STAKEHOLDERS’ ENGAGEMENT AND PUBLIC OUTREACH
The focus of Goal III is to catalyse stakeholder engagement and public outreach by promoting blue education and awareness, and by intensifying cooperation and coordination at the national, regional, and global levels to achieve a systematic response that meets the growing needs and expectations in the ROPME Sea Area (RSA). This requires strengthening partnerships and expanding outreach to key partners, including deepening interaction with local communities, scientific communities, governments, and NGOs, in order to enhance the role, visibility, and positive impact of the ROPME Strategic Directions.
To achieve the objectives of Goal II, ROPME developed two main programs and a set of priority areas under these two programs:
- Collaboration & Engagement (C&EP).
- Blue Outreach (BOP).
Each program will focus on a certain priority area in RSA and will implement a set of key activities
to have strategic impacts following the implementation of well-defined projects.
