GOAL I: Ecosystems

Adaptation & Mitigation Measures

Adaptation and mitigation measures are central to addressing environmental degradation and climate-related risks. While adaptation focuses on reducing vulnerability and enhancing resilience to existing and expected impacts, mitigation aims to limit or prevent the drivers of environmental harm, particularly greenhouse gas emissions and ecosystem destruction. An integrated approach that links both dimensions ensures sustainability, protects natural resources, and supports long-term socio-economic development.
