The Collaborative Engagement Program (CEP) is designed to advance Goal III by strengthening advocacy and cooperation at the international, regional, and national levels. At the international level, the Program seeks to enhance ROPME’s engagement with the United Nations Environment Assembly and deepen cooperation with relevant United Nations bodies, Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs), and international financial institutions. At the regional level, the CEP strengthens collaboration within the ROPME Sea Area, including closer coordination with the Regional Seas Programme and enhanced cooperation among ROPME Member States. At the national level, ROPME works to promote and integrate its Strategic Directions into national development plans and country-level programming, ensuring alignment with national priorities and sustained implementation.
