Clean Coasts Regional Campaign

The Clean Coasts Regional Campaign is a long-term initiative launched to tackle the growing problem of marine litter across the ROPME Sea Area. It brings together governments, NGOs, volunteers, and schools to organize coastal clean-up drives, educational workshops, and awareness programs targeting plastic pollution.

The campaign also promotes sustainable waste management policies, beach monitoring systems, and public engagement through social media challenges and youth-led projects. It aims to foster a culture of environmental responsibility and reduce land-based sources of marine debris in the region.
