The Workshop on Marine Biodiversity Conservation brings together regional experts, policymakers, and conservationists to address the urgent challenges facing coral reefs, seagrass meadows, and native marine species. Participants will explore scientific findings, case studies from the ROPME region, and the latest best practices in habitat restoration and monitoring.

Through hands‑on sessions and field discussions along Muscat’s coast, attendees will plan joint initiatives for preserving vulnerable ecosystems. The workshop is organized in collaboration with UNEP and includes networking opportunities to foster long‑term regional cooperation.
