The Thirty-Seventh Meeting of the Executive Committee (EXCOM-37) was held in Kuwait on 28 January 2024, under the Chairmanship of H.E. Dr. Mohammed Bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain.


The meeting focused on reviewing progress in the implementation of ROPME programs and activities since the Thirty-Sixth Executive Committee Meeting. Members discussed the strategic direction of ROPME in line with the new Strategic Plan, considered budgetary requirements, and made decisions on key agenda items and organizational priorities.


EXCOM-37 provided an important platform for EXCOM Members to coordinate efforts, evaluate ongoing initiatives, and ensure the continued advancement of ROPME’s regional environmental and marine programs.
